Rancilio Rocky Grinder (doserless)

The Rocky is the workhorse of home espresso enthusiasts.  This doserless model allows for versatile grinder for both espresso and other various brewing methods.  Espresso grinding for home can be tricky.  In other words, many home grinders are great for brewed-coffee variables, but just can’t obtain the consistent fines needed for espresso.  That’s even the case with the home coffee grinder we sell.  We would not recommend the Virtuoso for espresso grinding.  So, if you’re in the market for a grinder, we recommend the following: Planning on getting into home espresso (even someday), go with the Rocky.  It can handle all brewing methods from french press to espresso.  Planning on just brewing great coffee at home, go with the Virtuoso.  It can handle all brewing methods for coffee.  Similar to our selection to offer the Virtuoso, we were looking for the most attainable espresso grinder that can handle the consistent fines needed to make a great shot on the Silvia.  These Italian machines are extremely well made, reliable and will serve you well.
